We've listed down a couple of things you can do to improve the quality of your AI bot's responses.

If you're using our default instructions, ensure you've filled out the Company Name and A Brief About Your Company sections (in Bots > Manage > Settings > General). This helps your AI bot understand who it's working for and what your company or product does and improves its responses.
You can also try editing the AI instructions to better convey to the AI bot how you would like it to answer or behave and how it shouldn't. The more clarity you can give it, the better.
Your AI bot will answer based only on the content you provide it. If it's unable to provide answers or is generating inaccurate answers, it could be because it doesn't have enough relevant information in its source data.
For no or incorrect responses, check if the source content contains the information needed to provide an accurate response. If not, please fill the information gap.
Also, check for conflicting pieces of information in the AI's source data. For example, if two web pages (or maybe a web page and document) have different answers for the same question, we recommend that you update the content there.
If you're not satisfied with a particular response your AI bot provided, you can visit the Inbox, and add a correction for that answer from there.
The next time the same (or similar) question is asked, the AI bot will respond accurately.
You can track all corrections in Bots > Manage > Source Data > Corrections.
When a question is asked, your AI bot locates up to four best-match chunks of information that are required to generate a response. For more information about how this works, check out How Superseek Works.
Increase the similarity threshold to further limit which chunks meet the best-match criteria, thereby limiting the AI bot from using lower-quality chunks to generate an answer.
While this may improve response quality for some specific questions, we do not recommend keeping it too high as it might limit performance for more general questions.
If you're using GPT-3.5-turbo, try changing the AI model to GPT-4-turbo and test the answers.
GPT-4-turbo is significantly better than GPT-3.5-turbo at understanding context and following instructions.
Note that higher models cost more, so make sure you've tried all other fixes and need a higher-quality model before making the change.
