# Add custom content

Custom content is a great way to quickly add information to your AI's knowledge base.&#x20;

**Step 1:** To add custom content, go to <mark style="color:purple;">Bots</mark>, choose the AI bot you'd like to add content to and click on <mark style="color:purple;">Manage</mark>.

**Step 2:** In <mark style="color:purple;">Source Data > Custom Content</mark>, click on <mark style="color:purple;">Add</mark> to instantly add plain text content to your AI bot's knowledge base.&#x20;

Both the title and content are indexed. Adding a relevant title will help your AI bot generate accurate responses.

You can add up to 2000 characters of text with each piece of custom content

You can edit or delete custom content by clicking on the Edit or Delete buttons shown.
